You have the right to shoot back, in self defence right? What if you kill the person, could the officer be charged with Manslaughter?

If you kill someone in self defense it would be a justifiable homicide. The officer would not be charged.

In terms of ground defense there are many that have great ground defense. You should consider are you talking about ground defense for the UFC or ground defense purely for self defense. There is a difference.

UFC teaches that the best place to be is on your back. This is a safe place to be in the cage with rules and a referee. However, on the streets or in a club or bar this is not an ideal situation. Imagine a 4′10, 95 pound female being attacked by 6′4, 245 pound male that plans on hurting, raping and or killer her. I do not believe that best place for is on her back with her legs spread eagle. Even if you are a 225 pound male and you got into an argument at the bar. You attempt to leave and as you begin to leave they start a fight. The guy you were arguing with his 3 friend with him. You might not have been aware of that. Your friends have already made it to their cars. You are alone when the guy tackles you. You are confident because you know how to fight from your back. That is great, but are you prepared to defend yourself against him and his 3 friends? No! It is not a good ideal to lay on your back in a fight that is not in an controlled environment especially if there is a potential for multiple attackers. Your life could depend on it. It may be okay to take them to the ground or even go there and know what to do once you are there. But you should get up as soon as possible and leave them vulnerable on the ground.

Sambo is the Russian version of judo. It also uses leg locks that you do not learn in judo.

I plan on doing Aikido twice a week and Wing Chun once or twice a week. I would get throws, weapon defence and joint locks from Aikido, punching, blocking and kicking from Wing Chun

Not in my book. If you plan to take both up at the same time, then no, it’s not. As I’ve posted in a previous answer, I’ve done both, well, a watered down version of Wing Chun(JKD style) anyway before taking up traditional Aikido. And mixing those two in my opinion is like mixing oil with water. You’d be better off taking one first and reaching a high level of proficiency in that art before cross training in the other. The reason I say this is because the footwork alone in either arts are so completely different, that you’d end up confused and just risk wasting time if you train in both at the same time. I can’t count the number of times my Aikido sensei kept correcting me to widen my stance and to take deep steps while pivoting, not skip or hop and twist tightly like I learned in my previous Wing Chun class. And this is just footwork, we’re not even talking about the difference between linear and circular flow of hand techniques.

Assume a yes or a no. If yes, then say in what situations is it a legal defense. If no, then justify yourself and say why not.

Your best bet would to first have a scenario where you would need to use self defense, and then go from there. Don’t worry, once you get it started it should flow.

This would depend on the instructor. Many never directly teach it but there are some that do. There aren’t many judo kata, but the ones there are have weapons defenses from a knife and gun.

Personally,I would not hit a woman who was merely punching me with her weak arms.

But if she goes for a kick in the groin,I am putting her leg temporarily out of commission.

Also if she comes at me with a weapon she is going down.

Some women believe that there is zero excuse for hitting a woman. Those same women merely want the advantage to hit without consequences.

My ex came at me with a knife once. I tried the "gently block her attack" as many women advocate. It earned me 26 stitches.

Never again. Cry all you want girls but come at me with a knife or bat and you are getting punched.

Punch me and I will do what you girls do and call the cops and have you thrown in jail.

EDIT: I agreee with MissWong as far as a man should walk out before it gets to that point,but then a woman should do the same and walk out before she feels the desire to hit in the first place.

Also,if we are in MY house and me and her do not live together,I am NOT walking out of my own house and physically escorting her out of MY house is considered wrong.

No man should ever be chased out of his own house by a chick throwing a temper tantrum.

P.S. for those believing that a womans punch can hardly be felt therefore he should merely restrain her due to strength differences,I am not that big of a guy but if I walk up to Chuck Liddell and punch him ( which will not hurt him) and he beats the cr@p out of me,none of you ladies will be singing a sad tune over my beatdown.

Even if you are only 100 lbs,you have NO business nor right swinging in the first place.

I gave a thumbs up to all those above me. Combat sport is different than self defense. Combat sport would be competitive in nature where you train to compete such as mma or muay thai or judo. Self defense arts are where you train for someone to attack you – these include what are called realistic martial arts. Hapkido is for self self defense, Jeet Kune Do is for street fighting, Kali, Silat, Kun Tau, Eskrima, Arnis or Systema would all be effective if you can locate a teacher! Krav Maga is better marketed that the others I listed in the realistic realm but not necessarily any better.
