I would recommend bujinkan ninjutsu since it focuses a lot on self defense even against multiple attackers.

I don’t understand the two answers above. He’s asking where to learn self-defense, not what to take.
Anyways, you need to seek an instructor. Its as simple as that. If you absolutely cannot get to a live person, videos may be the next best thing. If you can come away with a good understanding of the material then its not a waste.

I have done Ninjitsu and Judo, Ninjitsu was by far the best and most exciting. You learn about stealth, melee weapons(eg.Katana's) and hand to hand combat, it's truly awesome.
